SUMMARY:2022 Newcastle Area Youth Art Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:Plan on visiting the Newcastle Library during the month of March to view some great art created by the youth of our area! \nFeatured in the exhibition will be over 20 youth artists ages kindergarten to high school representing 15 local area schools. The exhibition will be open during regular library hours. \nVote for your favorites in the exhibition in our People’s Choice Award competition. The artist with the best in the show as voted on by the community and one random person submitting a ballot will win some great prizes. \nThe People’s Choice Award is sponsored by Frosty Barrel\, Friends of Newcastle Library\, Newcastle Arts Council\, City of Newcastle and 4Culture.

DESCRIPTION:Newcastle Arts Council will be having our annual meeting on March 7\, 2022 from 7:00pm – 8:00pm on-line. Please plan to attend as we celebrate our successes of 2021 and look toward what we hope to accomplish in 2022. \nThe meeting will be immediately followed by our monthly board meeting. \nOn a regular basis the board of Newcastle Arts Council meets either in person (if conditions allow) or on-line via Zoom on the first Monday of each month. If anyone is interested in joining us for a future meeting please contact us at newcastlewaarts@gmail.com. We are continuing to look for others to be actively involved in the organization.
